Rice Comparison

excellent nutritional comparison of bulgur wheat to
brown rice published by Cooking Light in their June

rice!

Grano!
Grano is an Italian
specialty grain made from specially selected durum
wheat. It tastes like pasta but is more nutritious
because only a small amount of the outer bran is
removed during processing. It is extremely
versatile in that it can be used in any hot or cold
recipe in place of rice, pasta or wheat berries, or
as a tasty, nutritious ingredient in main dishes.
Until recently,
Grano was found only in specific regions of Italy,
but Sunnyland Mills now produces it in the United
States at our plant in Fresno,
California.
